About Bahir Dar University
Bahir Dar University (Amharic Writing Bahir Dar) is a college located in Bahir Dar, the capital of the Amhara region of Ethiopia. Since 1996, the university has expanded its classrooms to a certain extent, with two more modest foundations. The university is made up of five universities, four foundations, seven inputs, two institutions and two schools.

The first was the Bahir Dar Polytechnic Institute, which developed one of the university’s inputs in 1963 through a special partnership between the USSR government and the Ethiopian Imperial Government. The purpose of the establishment was to train professionals in the fields of agro-mechanics, industrial chemistry and metallurgy, textile, electrical and wood technology. The institute had to undergo program changes in 1996 until the launch of the engineering certification program. With all these program changes, the Foundation has done its best to provide the labor market with the best professionals available today. Conducting multiple organizations in a modern, educative, rural and diverse environment.
