Position 1: Senior Technical Expert I: – Mobile Application Developer
Required qualifications, competencies, skills, training, and experience:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience for Bachelor’s degree holders and 6 years for Master’s degree holders in mobile app development.
Technical Skills
- Experience with RESTful API integration
- Programming Languages (JavaScript / TypeScript, Dart, Java, Kotlin, Swift)
- Mobile Development Frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Native Android Development, Native iOS Development)
- Mobile Storage & Data Handling (SQLite, AsyncStorage, Secure local storage, Offline synchronization)
- Notifications & Real-Time Features(Push notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Real-time updates and messaging)
- Performance Optimization (App startup optimization, Memory management, Battery and network optimization, Crash analysis and monitoring)Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data protection techniques
- Experience in integrating mobile apps with enterprise back-end systems
Position 2: Senior Technical Expert I: – Front-end Developer
Required qualifications, competencies, skills, training, and experience:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience for Bachelor’s degree holders and 6 years for Master’s degree holders in front-end development.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with one or more: React / Angular / Vue
- Understanding of API integration
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of security standards, encryption, and secure coding
Position 3: Senior Technical Expert I: -Back-end Developer
Required qualifications, competencies, skills, training, and experience:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience for Bachelor’s degree holders and 6 years for Master’s degree holders in back-end development.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in one or more: Python / Java / .NET / PHP / Node.js (JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, .NET Core, Laravel, Express.js, Next.js
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL Server) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of security standards, encryption, and secure coding
- API testing tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Monitoring & Logging Service (Open Telemetry, SigNoz)
- Experience in the development and customization of DHIS2 app
Position 4: Advisor: – Stakeholder engagement
Required qualifications, competencies, skills, training, and experience:
- Minimum of MSc degree or PhD in plant science, agronomy, Agricultural Extension, Rural development and related field of studies. or related fields of study.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience for master’s degree holders and 6 years for PhD holders in Agriculture or related fields, out of which 6 years should be in leadership and managerial positions.
- Self-motivated, organized, team-player, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing events and coordinating multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with effective written and verbal communication skills.
