Ramid Export and Import PLC would like to invite qualified and interested job seekers to apply for the following different position.

Position 1: – Import Export Manager

Job Purpose:

The Import/Export manager are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the import export logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. As a manager he should possesses an in-depth knowledge of customs rules and regulations and all other related requirements of an import and export process.

Key responsibilities:-

  • Develop and execute import/export strategies in compliance with domestic and international trade laws and regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and customers for import/export transactions.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and customers, ensuring favorable terms and circumstances.
  • Coordinate and monitor the overall import/export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
  • Analyze market trends and economic factors to identify new import/export opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients to maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze import/export costs, tariffs, and taxes to optimize financial performance.
  • Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and tariffs to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and sales, to ensure smooth import/export operations.
  • Prepare and submit import/export reports, documents, and records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Managing the company’s shipping operations, including scheduling appointments with shipping companies and filing customs paperwork
  • Managing inventory by monitoring the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse to ensure that they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers of raw materials or manufacturers who use the company’s products and work with clients at the receiver ends.
  • Developing and implementing import/export strategies that support the company’s business goals and ensure compliance with international trade regulations

Department: Import Export Department

Accountable To: Chief Executive Officer

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in import/export operations, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with international partners.
  • Proficient in using import/export software and tools.
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Position 2: – Finance Head

Job Summary

As the Finance Head, it is his/her responsibility to oversee all financial activities within the organization. The main goal is to ensure that to achieve financial success and growth while adhering to legal financial practices. This includes advising the organization on how to increase profits through sound financial practices, as well as monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related laws, procedures, and regulations, such as tax compliance and financial reporting.

Specific Duties and responsibilities:-

  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Advice team and management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
  • Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
  • Mediate between the organization, factories, employees, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
  • Create strategic /Financial/ business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
  • Ensures proper recording and handling of financial data as well as accurate posting on systems.
  • Provide vital financial leadership aligning business and finance strategy to grow the business.
  • Drive business improvement initiatives such as Cost Reduction and Effective Controls among other process improvements and innovations that add value to the company.
  • Confirm all month end activities done on time.
  • Generate and check periodic financial statement and report to Management.
  • Revise, follow up and report weekly bases the aged Payables and Receivables report and cash balance.
  • Supervise and control all GL and subsidiary accounts on daily bases.
  • Validate the Cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
  • Check and confirm overhead costs accumulated and allocated as required by IFRS /generally   accepted accounting principles.
  • Check and analyze periodic Trial balance and financial data posted in the system.
  • Oversees the accounting and reporting function across factories and business units.

Accountable To: CFO

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree, Finance, Accounting or Business Management studies are preferred.
  • Experience of at least 8 years of related experience preferably in a busy manufacturing, Import Export and Real-estate company.
  • 4+ years previous experience as a Finance Head  in a busy manufacturing sector required
  • Self –initiative & ability to manage own work with little supervision.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills and strong people management skills.
  • Ability to handle diverse business activities and challenges and cope with difficult working environment.
  • A team player, keen on details and results oriented.
  • Data Organizational & Analytical skills.
  • Is able to communicate well with employee, unions and management.

Position 3: – Manager, Human Resource and Administration

Job Purpose

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources and talent management in the Ramid Company for all business units. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to attract, retain, and develop employees. The HR Manager will collaborate with management to align HR initiatives business objectives.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact between the company and employees.
  • Move strategy to action by recommending and implementing new approaches and actual business solutions to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and the development of HR within the company.
  • Provide effective and timely counsel, coaching & mentoring at the senior management level particularly in the areas of talent management, employee engagement and employee relations / communications.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement processes and tools that foster higher productivity, quality, safety and improved engagement / retention of workforce.
  • Continuous improvement mindset while providing leadership and change management expertise in support of manufacturing business initiatives, projects, and changes.
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships with management and employees in order to act as a vital resource and trusted advisor.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for the HR department as established by local, division, and corporate value drivers.
  • Design polished, relevant and timely internal communications in order to keep our workforce engaged and informed.
  • Develop new policies, programs and culture-building initiatives to drive deeper employee engagement.
  • Continually seek opportunities for improvements and implement “best practice” initiatives that streamline transactional activities, increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
  • Design policies in vehicle management, maintenance and repairing.
  • Drive problem-solving activities to resolve department and business issues and inefficiencies and increase employee satisfaction.
  • Coach and counsel management and employees in the interpretation and application of HR and organizational policies and procedures, assuring fairness and consistency.
  • Ensure the resolution of complex employee relations issues by overseeing and/or conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Plan and carry out human resource and Administration activities for the organizations.

Key Deliverables

  • Design and implement HR and Administration guidelines,
  • Design and organize proper employee database,
  • Conducting field research to obtain data related to supplier and market trends,
  • Improving skill level of HR and Admin team.

Job Requirements

  • A team player, keen on details and results oriented.

  • Understands business operations.
  • Possesses good supervisory skills.
  • Has a good research skills and abilities?
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
