Position 1: PROGRAMME OFFICER (PO)

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – preferably communications or the social sciences.
• 2–3 years of experience within a humanitarian or development organisation, preferably within the mine action sector.
• Experience in donor reporting, proposal writing and contract management.
• Demonstrable experience in external engagement, partnership management and due diligence.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Fluency in Amharic- oral and written

Position 2: MULTITASK TEAM LEADER (MTT TEAM LEADER)
About You
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage others.
• Physical resilience and ability to deploy for extended durations to remote locations, on a basis of 3 weeks of field work for 1 week of stand down (rest)
• Willingness to work in a small team (4 people) comprising men and women
• Understanding this role is permanently based in Afar, with operations starting from Semera town
• Ability to attend in-person interviews in Semera in May 2026 by your own means
• Minimum completion of grade 12
• Fluent in Afar and Amharic; basic English communications is an advantage
• 3-5 Years of experience for mine clearance activities, particularly in Non-technical survey (NTS), or Data collection relevant roles.
• Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) qualifications is an advantage but not mandatory
• Valid driving licence is an advantage
• Basic computer literacy is an advantage
• Valid Ethiopian Identity card

Position 3: INTERMEDIATE CARE PROVIDER (ICP) – TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE
About You
• Physical resilience and ability to deploy for extended durations to remote locations, on a basis of 3 weeks of field work for 1 week of stand down (rest)
• Willingness to work in a small team (4 people) comprising men and women
• Understanding that this role is permanently based in Afar, with operations starting from Semera town
• Ability to attend in-person interviews in Semera in May 2025 by your own means
• Willing to perform medical tasks involving canulation procedures and contact with bodily fluids
• Minimum completion of grade 12
• Fluency in Afar and Amharic (English is an asset but not a requirement)
• Medical diploma is an asset but not a requirement
• Valid Ethiopian Identity card

• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Fluency in Amharic- oral and written.

Position 5: MULTITASK DEPUTY TEAM LEADER
About You
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage others.
• Physical resilience and ability to deploy for extended durations to remote locations, on a basis of 3 weeks of field work for 1 week of stand down (rest)
• Willingness to work in a small team (4 people) comprising men and women
• Understanding this role is permanently based in Afar, with operations starting from Semera town
• Minimum completion of grade 12
• Fluency in Afar and Amharic; basic English is an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in mine clearance activities, community liaison, or similar fieldwork
• Valid driving licence is an advantage
• Basic computer literacy is an advantage
• Valid Ethiopian Identity card
