Position: Quality Controller (Product Quality Assurance)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quality Assurance, Engineering, Consumer Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related discipline).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, product inspection, retail buying, or a related field; experience in e-commerce, retail, or broadcast media is an advantage.
- Familiarity with teleshopping, e-commerce, or retail quality standards (local or international) is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of product safety standards and certification requirements (e.g., electrical, cosmetic, food, textile).
- Understanding of consumer protection and advertising truth-in-claims regulations.
- Basic understanding of broadcast production timelines and live-show workflows.
- Proficiency in documentation and reporting (MS Office/Excel; database or inventory systems are a plus).

- Attention to Detail: Able to spot defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities quickly and accurately.
- Integrity and Objectivity: Makes unbiased quality decisions regardless of vendor pressure or sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Clearly explains rejection reasons to vendors and coordinates effectively with production teams.
- Decision-Making under Time Pressure: Able to make sound approval/rejection calls within tight pre-broadcast deadlines.
- Analytical Thinking: Reviews documentation, test results, and complaint data to identify quality trends.
- Ethical Judgment: Prioritizes consumer safety and station reputation over short-term sales pressure.
- Team Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with vendor relations, legal, production, and hosts.
